During its autumn Conference, CD Projekt has officially announced the name of the new sci-fi RPG, not had news from last may , based on the popular role-playing game Cyberpunk 2020 paper created by Mike Pondsmith. Under development at a team of veterans from The Witcher 1 and 2, the title will be called 2077 Cyberpunk and is set in a futuristic world sandbox in 2077 with cutting-edge technology but inhabited by a population in sharp decline.

CD Projekt and the same Mike Pondsmith explained that the game will be taken care of down to the smallest details to prove, in the end, extraordinary. The developers will try to be as faithful to the authentic essence of the cyberpunk genre.

Players will find themselves exploring a city of the future trying to get in close contact with very advanced technologies which led mankind to salvation and, at the same time, the curse.

Cyberpunk 2077 will show off a mature and non-linear storyline and immerse us in unusual locations and already present in Cyberpunk 2020 including a scenario where you can visit Afterlife and Forlorn Hope. In the course of the adventure we have many guns, gadgets and equipment to be supplied to our alter ego, whose experience will grow according to the first choice.
