Epic Games comprises 38 Studios and Big Huge Games

In a letter signed by the President of Epic Games, Michael Capps, the software house of North Carolina has committed to resurrect from the ashes 38 Studios and its sister company Big Huge Games, developers, including Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and different RTS series Rise of Nations , who last month had to close its doors officially. Employees without a contract anymore, all this time have continued to work in the hope that someone contacts them and who was in trouble the whole team was organized to obtain food and paying bills.

Epic Games, along with Zenimax Online and other big companies, is committed to incorporate part of the talents in their headquarters in Raleigh and at the same time try to rebuild a new studio in the city of Baltimore, though it will take some time to reorganize everything. The new team will probably work on other new projects or in any case give a hand to the current titles: surely the most important fact is that we have saved two other studies of the development efforts of many SH.
