Scalebound: Hideki Kamiya appeals to Phil Spencer to resume the project

The Scalebound issue now seemed dead and buried, with Hideki Kamiya of PlatinumGames having recently taken responsibility for the project's failure. But, at least for the Japanese designer, the project does not seem to be past water and would like to resume it with the collaboration of Microsoft.

In an interview with IGN Japan, kamiya said of Scalebound: "We've worked on it a lot, and Microsoft doesn't need to have the game in its current form, so we'd like to do something about it. Phil! Let's do it together!"

In short, it seems that PlatinumGames would welcome a resurrection of the controversial project: all that remains now is to see if Phil Spencer can be interested. But the important question is: would the studio be able to accomplish what it has failed to do in the past, completing the development of the title satisfactorily? If there are developments on the matter, you will read about them on our pages.
