505 Games announced today that AWE, Control'shighly anticipated second expansion, will arrive on August 27 on all platforms, while in a few days, on August 13, we'll be shown the first 15 minutes of the game. The announcement comes accompanied by a trailer that confirms the connection of the new adventure with Alan Wake: not only will we have to fight monsters that fear light, but in a short frame appears the tormented writer.

Not only that: 505 Games explains that in the DLC Jesse will have to investigate some strange paranormal events including one that occurred in Bright Falls, where he will learn more about the disappearance of writer Alan Wake. I mean, it looks like we're finally going to know more about the fate of the tormented Alan!
