Not even the most "serious" titles can escape the dark charm of Haloween: Ubisoft today announced that from October 23 to November 6 it will arrive in Rainbow Six: Siege the Doktor's Curseevent, in which the players will be engaged in a hide-and-seek macrabo in which a team of monsters, the defenders, will have to resist to the end against a team of powerful exterminators.

Both teams are equipped with special equipment for the occasion, but none have access to guns or melee attacks. Each attacker is equipped with a smashing hammer to crush monsters, and has access to one of three possible gadgets to stave them out:

• Jackal's Eyenox Model II
• Lion's EE-ONE-D
• Pulse Heart Sensor

Each defender has their own trap gadget and a special secondary skill called Night Step that allows them to become invisible and move faster for a short time.

On the defenders' side,a group of trap operators has undergone a mutation that makes them unrecognizable and has taken to haunting the haunted castle under the guise of monsters, under Doktor's command:

• Smoke emerges from the sewers in the form of a hybrid creature.
• Kapkan lulties in to the dark as a grim reaper.
• As a demon, Frost wanders around in search of human flesh to devour.
• Turning into zombies, Lesion is hungry for human brains.
• A reanimated Ela craves human skin for her perverse creations.

On the side of the assailants,a team of mysterious exterminators employs familiar-faced operators, along with a customized version of Sledge's hammer.
