CD Projekt Red reveals his plans for the future of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game

It's only been a few days since the arrival of the full version of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game on consoles, but already CD Projekt Red is busily working to make improvements and additions to its free-to-play game.

The details of the roadmap were presented during a live stream and are based on a model of ongoing support to the game which involves balancing patch every month and new content every few months (in addition to hot-fix when necessary, as in these days).

As regards the assistance planned for January will be possible changes in these aspects of the game, not surprisingly, currently the subject of much debate among the players:

  • a possible return to the previous mode of "mulligan, i.e. catch tool cards
  • the adoption of methods of balance between the commanders, instead of today, have no effect on the phase of Repechage
  • a different card game hand limit management

Always for January has announced five new commanders , chosen from among the protagonists of the narrative of the game "Cousin" Thronebreaker : these new commanders should contribute to the evolution of gameplay and card balance, CD Projekt Red pointed out will always be considered of the utmost importance.

The next big injection of new content is planned for next spring, with the arrival of over 100 new cards.

For those who are interesting to delve into these topics, here's the recording of the stream of presentation (in English), enjoy!
