Far Cry Primal: on 12 November arriving the Survivor mode as a free update

Ubisoft has announced on the official blog of Far Cry: Primal that on April 12 , will be released as a free update for all users, a new game mode: the Survivor mode. It will be a survival mode that will introduce new features like permanent death and will increase even more the challenge level of the game.

Thomas Simon, the game director for Far Cry: Primal explained that "the idea of making this mode started initially by the team that he said he wanted to create it based on the feedback received from the community" , specifying that "the key to this is the substantial change in exploration, in crafting and the difficulty of the game, to make it even more realistic."

But while on the one hand the more adventurous can set the maximum difficulty made possible by the introduction of permanent death, others can live the experience offered by the survival mode with some added bonus, like the ability to have a life of Commons offered to players at certain checkpoints, as explained by the same Simon:

" We have decided to make this combo between Survivor and permadeath available for any difficulty, so that even players who don't like necessarily play extreme difficulty levels can enjoy the change of experience the presence of the survival mode and experience, if they want it, permanent death ".

Finally the game director talked about additional options were introduced along with the new mode, as a new gauge of resistance, more rare animals and the introduction of new creatures, as well as removal of the minimap, specifying that all these elements can be activated on any difficulty, allowing the player to personalize your gaming experience.
