Jonathan Morin, creative director at Ubisoft, said recently in an interview with Polygon that the first Watch Dogs was nothing more than the start of something bigger. Watch Dogs , released in 2014, was well received during the development phase but the exit was disappointed some expectations and it ended up being just an open world game above average.

Morin said: " this project was ambitious from the start and we're really excited to have this opportunity to increase our knowledge of the game thanks to feedback received from the players. If we also add the feedback received by the press and our own data, we can now say that we have everything we need to identify what worked and what needs improvements. Watch Dogs is a great game, but it's also the beginning of something bigger . " These words can mean that Ubisoft is working on a new chapter of Watch Dogs , which even some rumor could exit at the end of this year. We just have to wait for further developments.
