Microsoft Announces Xbox One March update features

At Showcase last week, Microsoft also announced some of the features that will be present on the March update of the Xbox One , now available to members preview. One of the most important features is expected is the addition of 360 backwards compatible Xbox games in Games Store, which can be downloaded directly from the console without having to navigate the web store.

Another new feature worthy of note is the ability to set how long the recorded clips when using the option " Register this element " of Game DVR: so far the length was always fixed at 30 seconds, but now we may change it to 15, 30, 45 seconds or 1, 3 and 5 minutes.

Here's also a list of other features coming soon, including the two already listed:

  • Xbox 360 backwards compatible games purchase directly from the console
  • Setting the time to register now for the Game DVR
  • Audio inclusion of party chat in streams Twitch
  • Delivery of audio of the parties simultaneously to headphones and speakers to TV/HiFi
  • Track your progress in individual goals directly from the Guide
  • Video playback of friends directly from your activity feed, without having to enter the Game DVR
  • If you have used your avatar as your profile picture, you also get other people in the activity feed
  • Possibility of performing Parties from 16 people both on Xbox One Windows 10 (via app Xbox)
  • Xbox 360 games unlocked goals will appear in the activity feed
  • Game Hub more interactive, with links to web pages of games
  • Comparison of our Avatar with your friends
  • Changes to the interface of reputation system: players with good profiles will no longer have a slider to reputation
