The creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, Hideo Kojima , is back today to talk about the new Metal Gear Solid v: The Phantom Pain and more precisely of free roaming component of the title.

Kojima confirms that in Metal Gear Solid v: The Phantom Pain players will be free to explore every part of the game world, but that a time accepted a mission the free roaming will not be available until the end of the latter. In fact, missions take place within specific areas and demarcated, the removal of which will decide the failure of the mission . Each mission can be launched from a special menu during free-roaming, there are also side quests and other activities.

Metal Gear Solid (V): The Phantom   Pain is still without an official date, but is expected in 2015.
