According to financial analyst Mike Hickey strong rumors are circulating that Activision would be interested in the acquisition of Take-Two Interactive, the Publisher that includes 2 k Games and Rockstar Games. According to Hickey, the two companies have many shared objectives, such as the creation of studios to make their videogame franchise, and this would be creating a mutual concern about a possible acquisition/merger.

Activision is already owns Blizzard, has recently auto-franked by Vivendi-Universal and is the Publisher of the most valuable video games (financially) in the world: it is no surprise then that can see with some interest to franchise of Take-Two, first Grand Theft Auto but also sportsmen, Bioshock 2, Borderlands, and Civilization.

The rumors about acquisitions of this kind however never fail and not always materialize: there just have to wait for developments.
