The Gamescom is officially started and Major Nelson has just announced through its website-an avalanche of new features for the Xbox One that will be implemented by here a few months. The company, as Nelson explains, has listened to users, thanks to Xbox program Feedback, getting thousands of posts from the community. Along with the early access program by the end of the month, new social features will make it easier for users to connect with their friends, will offer new ways to access their TV, will bring entertainment into their homes.

Updates include:

• A new section "friends" -the new "friends" section allows the user to see at a glance what their friends are doing. Now they can stay constantly updated on all their activities, most played games, on their game playing and their increased Gamescore to see how much has improved in the last 30 days;
• Snap Center -messages, friends, groups, and the results will be available in the new Snap, providing a quick and easy way to move from one activity to another without having to leave the game playing;
• Paragrafati Messages -the messages will be shown in the form of conversation, not as individual messages, including embedded links to game-clips that can be viewed without interrupting the game.
• Media Player -will be available a new application that can play media files from a USB device or a network server with DLNA support. The preview version of this application supports only USB devices, while DLNA will be implemented later. Xbox One will also be able to support many more formats than Xbox 360, including mpeg 2 TS, animated GIFs and, especially, the MKV format-the format of Blu Ray. All formats that are readable by the Xbox One, are listed at the bottom of the news;
• Xbox One Digital TV Tuner -As announced last week, will be available in Europe only, preview before its official launch, which will take place in October.
• Steam TV via Smartglass -One Xbox owners will be able to transmit the TV to all smartphones and tablets of their home network using Xbox One Smartglass. Will be able to pause, rewind, play and even change channels without stop playing. Will work for Smartglass Windows applications, iOS and Android;
• Turn on your TV from your Xbox-One you can start directly from your television;
• Mini Guide to live TV -Where One Guide is available, a new mini guide display, on the bottom of the screen, details about the content that you are playing. Without changing the channel, you can control what is shown on other channels;
• Market expansion -Xbox One is going to be released on 29 new markets worldwide, in the coming weeks.
