Gears of War: Rod Fergusson teases us with a concept art, new info on the development

In yesterday during a live stream on Twitch Rod Fergusson of Black Tusk wanted to generate a bit of hype among fans of Gears of War spreading a first image related to the new title Gears of War to be released on the Xbox One. Unfortunately, the picture shown is very blurred and doesn't manage to draw precise conclusions. Making travel fantasy you might catch a glimpse of the mountains, a waterfall and a path.

Rod Fergusson stressed, however, that the title is still in prototype stages and before conceptualisation, so actual development has not yet started. The developer anticipates, however, that the study is intended to create the best massively multiplayer sector of the series to the delight of fans.

As for the story, on the other hand, Fergusson said that they will try to follow the continuity of the books and comics related to the saga, but if this is going to be out of the way to the "fun factor", then it could be ignored. So the writers decide to recount some events that might be at variance with what is narrated in the books and comics, but still try to respect them as much as possible.

Fergusson concluded to be really grateful to have something to do with a community like that of Gears. We will have to wait until E3 to get more precise information about the game.
