Codemasters has just released details of a new mode present in F1 2012 . The " Champions Mode " will put the player in a race against six samples one at a time, starting from Kimi Räikkönen, followed by Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher. Each sample has its own scenario and the player must beat him to unlock the next challenge.

As an example, Codemasters has led the challenge to Kimi Räikkönen, in which our virtual alter-ego goes with teammate Kimi, Spa circuit. The player will have new tires while the rest of the grid will have already consumed, but to complete the challenge we must surpass our companion within three laps remaining. It is an intriguing addition to the already consolidated gameplay offered by F1 2012 , although only with the release of the game we will know whether the " Champions Mode " offrifà the variety required in proposed challenges.  F1 2012 will come in September on our console.
