Sleeping Dogs: some information by United Front Games

Xbox Community Network has asked a series of questions to executive producer Sleeping Dogs , Stephen van der Mescht: many of the things that emerged in the interview were already known or revealed by one of our previous hands-on about the game, but there are still some information that you want to restore. That certainly more interesting is related to the duration of the game, which van der Mescht said to be 20 hours just to the main story, reaching beyond 40 hours doing side quests, also races cars and motorbikes (with online leaderboard), jobs, search for collectibles and other activities.

A note of color instead regarding the title of the game, which invokes the saying " let sleeping dogs lie ", equivalent to our " don't wake the sleeping can ": this refers both to the adventure of the protagonist, who has to be very careful as it moves as infiltrated triad not to awaken catastrophic events, but also to the protagonist himself, which is a bit of a "can you sleep" in the shoes of a policeman within an organization malavitosa.

Van der Mescht then explained that players will get a lot of satisfaction from character growth system, which "affezioneranno" seeing him take shape under their hands as they proceed through the history and make several choices: this will be a customization system that will allow us to change the appearance using special shops in town. There are also many secondary characters will play an important role in the emotional involvement of the player, to indicate that you do not solely a game stratta action but that story will be well cared for. Finally, when asked about the possibility of future DLC, the producer said that for now it was not announced anything official but doing understand that soon there may be news.

Please note that the new title of United Front Games is awaited in Italy on 31 August but the most impatient can order it from the United Kingdom two weeks before, since there the release is set for August 17.
