Beyond Good Evil 2: & justifies the lengthy development Ancel

In this month's issue of Official Playstation Magazine is a welcome surprise for fans of Beyond Good & Evil 2 : the magazine has an interview with series creator Michel Ancel, who provided details on the development of the project and why you need so much time to make it happen. First, Ancel underlined as both a personal and project really wouldnt take much to end, somehow reassure players that were now for vaporware .

Ancel then continued: " it is not the kind of game that is treated as ' root '. Is an ambitious project and we want to make it into the hands of our dreams, we are effettuendo different types of searches. [...] There are games that I did wait 10 years and when they finally appear proved a disappointment: there are several explanations behind a development process so long, and sometimes the reason is that the project has been repeatedly redesigned from scratch. This is not the case for Beyond Good & Evil 2 . We are doing searches, our programmers are developing gigantic metropolis and vast environments: in our case it is just pure technical research to make the game as we want it to be. "

The article concludes with a reference to the game mechanics: Ancel, as reported by OPM, would prefer a style of movement very close to that of the Assassin's Creed series rather than Mirror's Edge, as one could guess from some leaked videos have surfaced in the past.

Certainly the title is still high: discover over time if BG & E2 will need next-gen to see the light, since the team is performing various technical research and the project sees really great environments that could possibly cause any problems to the current console.
