New information about DeadLight

During a recent interview the game DeadLight director Raul Rubio has revealed new information related to this particular platform game filled with puzzle elements expected next summer as new exclusive for Live Arcade. Rubio pointed out, first, that the date will be set chronologically the title in 1986, has not been chosen at random by the developers as it is the year that happened several events related to the moon.

In addition, always for Rubio, if such events do not leave indifferent dicerto human nature, we connect them, too, to topics in such films as First Blood and Day of the Dead comes a unique game style chart.

DeadLight will have as main scenario in British Columbia Canada where the population has been decimated, and transformed into dangerous assassins from a violent epidemic which causes that have triggered at the time, are not known. All were affected by this murderous raptus: neighbors, parents, brothers switched "shadow," only one man has managed to avoid being hit by the epidemic: Randall Wayne that will inpersonate.

Rubio defines a simple platform game not based on jumping from one platform to another, avoiding the common weather typical of the genre, but a title focusing on Physics and solving riddles, similar, therefore, more like a Portal. Randall will be stada for scenarios by placing intelligently traps to eliminate enemies.

During the adventure, the protagonist comes into possession of some weapons but these are not effective against an enemy that, instead, traps and how they will be placed. Rubio said that the weapons will be used exclusively " a bad choice " by the player. We must, in short, making much use of grey matter in this game in which sole purpose will be to be able to survive and not to save the world, fashion now widespread in playful video field.

The story of DeadLight was written by Spanish playwright Antonio Rojano and was inspired by the Cell by Stephen King, The Road by Cormac McCarthy and Hello America by J.G. Ballard. We hope that before you can watch the game in motion.
