A new Battleship by Activision for the month of may

From the latest issue of the magazine Game Informer have appeared the first details on a new intellectual property Battleship , Activision, first-person shooter to be released in May and which will be based on the licence of the upcoming movie and will be developed by Double Helix. Below you will find all the information that we have received up to this moment: macheremo not just to update you, there will be new.

  • The film is used solely as a premise to immerse ourselves in an unconventional FPS that has nothing to do with the plot of the film.
  • The demonstration that was made of the game has beginning with Cole Mathis who is assaulting the island of Ni'Hiau with a half-landing.
  • The view of the game will be in first person.
  • Apparently it seems a classic military FPS.
  • During the demonstration we saw Mathis find shelter and throw grenades against alien intruders.
  • You can switch to command mode at any time.
  • The player in this way will have a better control of the action.
  • The display of the game is based on a grid.
  • The grid trait is that it has numbers and letters that intersect.
  • We can give commands to Navy ships anchored off: alien vehicles attach or assist with other objectives.
  • Aliens killed randomly can leave some tokens.
  • You can use tokens in command mode to buy power-ups.
  • Some examples of what you get with tokens: fix a damaged ship, artillery attack, assume direct control of a Navy destroyer for 20 seconds.
  • Navy destroyers in the lead double damage against enemies.
  • A balance must be maintained between the two modes of play.
  • The aliens will try to bind Mathis on land, trying to prevent the aid from the sea.
  • If you ignore the damage sustained by these ships will be destroyed and will sink.
  • To earn more points and stay on top of the list you will need to accumulate the bonuses that you get with the aid of support via sea.
