Hidetaka Suehiro, better known as SWERY or as the game director of Deadly Premonition, said he had plans for a prequel, a sequel and a special edition of the cult horror film released in 2010, and also has plans for a new IP.

Speaking with the site during the GameCentral GamesCom, SWERY explained that he and the team are planning a special edition of Access Games Deadly Premonition that will offer better graphics than the original course and other improvements of various kinds.

SWERY also said that in addition to having plans for a prequel and a sequel, is also planning an all-new, which should be an action-adventure with tones similar to those of Deadly Premonition. The game director added that, thanks to the success of their horror title, which has divided the critics but is also able to gain a solid fan base, the team has attracted the attention of several publishers outside of Japan.

Suehiro has also concluded that to date none of these projects is set in stone, but that have attracted interest from several publishers offers several options on where to go to Access Games in the near future. We will keep you informed about news from should they arise.
