Trenched: exit blocked by a Portuguese table game

If you've been waiting Trenched, especially the live arcade game by Tim Schafer, set in an alternate place chronologically after the events in the First World War, you must wait further. The game can not be released in some European countries due to a copyright issue: the concept of the title would indeed be very similar to the boardgame Portuguese "trench", also set during the First World War and focused on military strategies.

The designer of the "Trench", Rui Monteiro Alipio, the license is posted to the category of board games for that reserved for video games, but about to be contacted Eurogamer declined to comment on the fact and merely postpone interested the site of his game.

While the United States Trenched has already been released last June 22, European users will have to wait for the resolution of this problem before putting their hands in live arcade. We will keep you updated on the matter.
