After the rumor last month that threw the first clues on the development of Grand Theft Auto V, now comes a new rumor that points in the same direction. The American actor and voice actor Gilbert Gottfried has in fact written yesterday on twitter: "I just learned that give voice to the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto 5".

A few hours later, Gottfried has removed the statement, probably because I called from Rockstar as the game has not yet been officially announced, this is but another indication of the existence of the project (not that there were doubts, given the great success of the series ) and we wonder if maybe somehow it will not be announced at E3.

The choice of Gottfried as the voice of the protagonist, if confirmed, is rather interesting: it is an actor best known for comedic roles and, as voice actor, has so far worked mainly in film animation. This is an indication that, in Grand Theft Auto V, we find a protagonist more ironic and playful than Niko Bellic and his illustrious predecessors?
