On November 22 Microsoft announced its decision to close the servers that provide support to the statistics of Halo Wars. The decision had not been very well received by fans of the game through the forum all over the world have expressed their disapproval. Microsoft then retracted at least in part as previously announced, saying today that the statistics will be preserved while remaining accessible to all users, but the official forum will be closed from December 15, only to be reopened on HaloWaypoint.com.
