Patrice Desilets, a former Creative Director at Ubisoft's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Assassin's Creed Assassin's Creed 2, has found a home in the new THQ Montreal team, fresh from opening. According to an official announcement made this morning, THQ "would have the exclusive option to Desilets at work in the new studio in Montreal to begin the summer of 2011." Desilets will bring a new impetus to the team that will create original franchises for THQ.

According to Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President of THQ's key games, 2011 will be an important year for the company and add as Patrice developers helps to ensure concentration on the new series. Other artists who work with THQ to create new security is Tomonobu Itagaki, who is working on Third with its Devil's Valhalla Studios, and director Guillermo Del Toro, who was working on a project not yet announced Horror.
