The Community Manager Dan Amrica Activision revealed today that the company plans to release three titles in the Call of Duty series over the next two years: so far the company has maintained the pace of a game a year, but now with the 'introduction of the third developer Sledgehammer, which joins the already run-Infinity Ward and Treyarch, publisher prepares to raise the stakes.

Amrica also stated that the third title will belong to a "different kind from that of having games in the series so far," further confirmation that the Sledgehammer are working on something completely new for the famous brand war.

Our hope is that Activision do not get carried away and inflation series as it did last year with the titles "Hero," threatening to dilute the interest of players too.
