In October 2008, the head of Electronic Arts John Riccitiello said that he was planning a new chapter of the Mercenaries series, and since then have not been released more information on the matter. Yesterday, thanks to a movie stolen and now done by removing from the network, has returned to talk about the game: EA was quick to comment on this, confirming the existence and announcing that the title should be Mercenaries Inc..

The development was entrusted to that EA LA is nothing but the new studio created by former members of Team Pandemic authors of previous chapters, since the studio Pandemic has just closed. The game will not be but a single-player title as the previous Mercenaries: will instead focus on multiplayer, offering experience with MMO gameplay typical of the series.
