Pearl Abyss has announced Charting the Unknown, the first downloadable content dedicated to Crimson Desert, which will be available worldwide on October 15th. The activation is set for 22:00 UTC, which translates for us to midnight between October 15th and 16th.

The heart of the expansion lies in the possibility of leaving the coasts of Pywel behind: we will take command of a ship of our own and we will be able to sail the ocean in search of unexplored islands, going far beyond the coasts we had come to know. However, the exploration will not stop at the surface, because under the waves submerged treasures, sunken ruins and mysteries yet to be revealed will await us, capable of opening new paths to discovery.

The journey will be anything but smooth, as the pitfalls will populate both the mainland and the open sea: new threats, fearsome opponents and challenging tests will force us to adapt our tactics to each individual situation, in what promises to be some of the toughest clashes ever faced so far.

Accompanying us there will also be unpublished narrative events that will unfold throughout Pywel: a sinister presence looming over the desert, a dangerous political conflict, a journey that transcends time and an ancient secret kept under the surface of the sea. Moving along these plots will be Kliff, Oongka and Damiane, called to trace their own path, to understand what their purpose is and to shape their own destiny.

Finally, there will be a more intimate and domestic dimension, with the mode dedicated to housing that has been enhanced and will allow us to build and customize a house capable of reflecting our tastes. We will also be able to rent and manage various structures to increase our heritage, while cultivating relationships with the inhabitants of Pywel will make our daily life in this world richer.
