Final Fantasy VII Revelation shows itself on video and sets its release for April 8
In the game, Cloud Strife and his companions will find themselves facing a planet now on the brink of annihilation. Scarred by grief for the loss of a much-loved ally, and with their nemesis Sephiroth one step away from transforming into a god, our heroes will sail the skies aboard the Highwind airship in a race against time to stop Meteor, the magic capable of causing the absolute destruction of the planet. The final battle has now begun, and everything converges in this epilogue.
The Highwind will be the tool with which we will be able to discover an open world, exploring every corner of a vast planet. At our side there will also be Pico, the faithful chocobo who will grow up with the group learning new skills useful both in movements and in clashes.
On the combat front we will find a refined version of the acclaimed hybrid system of the series, enriched by the entry of Cid and Vincent among the playable characters and by the new FITS system, which through the specialized roles of the warrior, the knight, the black mage and the summoner guarantees new skills and even greater levels of power. The in-depth study of the gameplay already allows us to see the FITS of the knight on Cid and that of the summoner on Vincent at work.
The new images released have also revealed other features. While exploring the game world we will be able to freely change both the active character and the composition of the group at any time, while a new grappling hook will allow us to quickly climb the rooftops and speed with agility through the environments. The narrative will also have its own customizable component: by choosing which members of the group to entrust certain missions to, we will in fact be able to influence the development of some events and scenarios, shaping our narrative experience.
