Bandai Namco announced today that Gundam Rogue Orbit, the new action game dedicated to the famous Japanese series, will arrive on March 5th. In this new adventure we will have to fight for the survival of humanity against an unknown threat known as the Apocalypse.

Here we will take on the role of the RE-X pilot, taking the controls of the powerful Gundam Helix. Assisting us in these epic battles within the solar system will be Vii, a special multifunctional Haro unit tailor-made for our mecha. A trailer released at the same time as the announcement also revealed the presence of an enigmatic black Mobile Suit with menacing red eyes, further thickening the mystery that surrounds the plot.

During our journey in Gundam Rogue Orbit we will meet a very varied cast of characters. We will cross our path with Sofia, a mysterious girl intent on constantly watching our moves, and with April, the captain of the Stellarvane special operations unit, actively engaged against the Apocalypse. To give further depth to the game world there will also be figures such as Big Paul, the charismatic leader of a group of desert pirates who plunder the transports of the wealthiest to distribute supplies to the colonists, and Elaine, an exceptional pilot and knight commander, always ready to lead his forces on the front line.

On the gameplay front, we will have a wide range of options to shape our mecha according to the fighting style we prefer. In fact, we will be able to fully customize the Mobile Suit by equipping frames, thrusters, various weapons and the special Apocalypse Units (AP-U), not to mention complete freedom in choosing the color scheme. Since each weapon will guarantee unique actions and abilities, we will be able to define our strategies to dominate the furious clashes, both on land and in the skies.

The release of Gundam Rogue Orbit is set for March 5th and pre-orders are already open, which will guarantee as a bonus the early unlock of the Earth Blue color customization. The title will be available for purchase in different versions: in addition to the Standard Edition including the base game, we can opt for the Deluxe Edition, which adds the Premium Mod Skins Set, the Mobile Suit Color Pack 14-Color Set, a digital illustration, a Mission Reward Booster and a selection of music tracks. The most avid collectors will instead be able to focus on the very rich Collector's Edition: it includes an exclusive steelbox, all the contents of the Digital Deluxe, the bonuses of the Launch Edition, a set of five promotional cards of the Gundam Card Game and a splendid HG 1/144 ARK-10 GUNDAM HELIX model kit in Earth Blue version.
