JBL Quantum 520X: the new XBOX-certified headphones coming in September

On the occasion of gamescom, the well-known manufacturer of audio devices JBL announced a renewal of its range dedicated to gaming with a series of new models, including one designed specifically for XBOX: the JBL Quantum 520X Wireless headphones, whose debut on the market is set for the month of September at a price of 99,99 Euros.

The heart of the JBL Quantum 520X is made up of 50 mm carbon dynamic drivers, flanked by Hi-Res Audio support and JBL Quantum Spatial Sound technology: the promise is that of an accurate three-dimensional reconstruction of the soundstage, so as to be able to precisely identify the position of opponents and capture every detail, from footsteps in the distance to the subtlest noises. For communication with the rest of the team we find a removable 6 mm cardioid boom microphone with noise cancellation, designed to remain intelligible even in the most agitated phases.

On the connectivity front we have a dual wireless solution available, with a 2.4 GHz dongle to connect to the console, or Bluetooth 5.4 for mobile devices and PCs, as well as the possibility of switching to low-latency wired connection via USB-C. The declared autonomy reaches up to 37 hours, with a fast charging system that returns an hour of use with just five minutes of connection to the socket. In addition to XBOX, the headphones are also compatible with Windows PCs, MacOS and mobile devices, while the JBL QuantumENGINE software allows you to intervene on audio settings, microphone and game profiles to adapt each parameter to our preferences.

Comfort has also received attention: the new wireless adopts a silicone headband and breathable fabric ear cushions, materials chosen to withstand the longest sessions without discomfort. The headphones are available in black.
