The Expanse: Osiris Reborn shows itself in action with a mission on Ganymede

Owlcat Games has shown an advanced portion of the new narrative action-RPG The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, with two new cutscenes: a trailer and a more extended gameplay sequence, both related to a mission set on the moon Ganymede, where a seemingly linear infiltration degenerates in a matter of minutes.

The goal is to recover the data stolen from the Pinkwater station, kept inside a secret Protogen base. The Captain and J, his brother, take care of it, while the rest of the crew provides remote support. In the early stages everything proceeds as planned: we will move undercover through the corridors of the structure, we will be able to meet the employees of the Protogen and we will be able to try to reach the storage area simply by convincing those we will find in front of us.

The balance is broken when an unexpected third party enters the scene and a bioengineered threat is released inside the base. From that moment on, all that remains is to improvise, forcing one's way to get out alive. It is precisely this passage that allows the films to touch on all aspects of the production, from the cinematic direction of the narrative moments to the excited combats, passing through exploration and a dialogue system of considerable depth.

The release of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is set for spring 2027. We now leave you with the two videos and a rich set of images from the same mission; enjoy!
