The historic saga dedicated to the dinosaur hunter Turok is back to be seen: during Gamescom's Opening Night Live, staged earlier this week, Saber Interactive presented the new story trailer for Turok: Origins, a fast-paced sci-fi shooter expected for spring 2027. A few days after the showcase, the extended version of that footage now also arrives, which allows you to take a closer look at humanity's desperate battle against enemies that are anything but accommodating.

The adventure will take us to the treacherous Lost Lands, where the Order of the Turok fights for the survival of mankind in the face of the looming threat of the Xenia. We will play the role of these mystical guardians, guardians of unimaginable power and engaged in a war that sees them opposed to both ferocious dinosaurs and a fearsome alien force intent on wiping out all forms of human life in the galaxy. In short, the title is proposed as the modern evolution of the classic series, with an action system that alternates the first and third person view.

We will be able to face the campaign alone or join friends in the online co-op, and in both cases clashes with dinosaurs, alien arrays and bosses of considerable size await us, designed to test skills, strategy and coordination with companions. To support us there will be a futuristic arsenal to unlock and upgrade, ranging from plasma rifles to sniper weapons, passing through bows, shotguns and experimental alien technology. There will also be a progression based on the collection of Echoes, thanks to which we will obtain special abilities with which to customize our fighting style, enhance strengths and gain an advantage in clashes.

Ample space will also be dedicated to exploration: the Lost Lands promise to be as dangerous as they are fascinating, with ancient ruins, dense jungles, alien landscapes and hidden secrets to be found to unravel the mysteries that hold the key to humanity's salvation.
