EXODUS has a release date: Archetype's RPG arrives on April 7, 2027

Let's go back to the announcements of gamescom's Opening Night Live, staged on Tuesday: among the titles shown on stage there was also EXODUS, the sci-fi action RPG from Archetype Entertainment, which has finally revealed its worldwide launch date. The game will arrive on April 7, 2027, and the announcement was accompanied for the occasion by a new gameplay footage.

The video allows us to meet Salt, an Awakened Octopus who is a mercenary and bounty hunter by trade, and who will accompany Jun along his journey. In addition to introducing the new companion, the video also gives us a first taste of the combat system and the rich universe that we will be able to explore.

Salt drives a specialized combat mech and is a master of long-range precision shooting, quick evasive maneuvers, and ink-like smokescreens, designed to confuse and disorient opponents. She thrives where others can't, and in the heat of a fight, no one knows how to protect Jun like she does. The two are strangers forged by profoundly different worlds, but they find themselves side by side in front of the same enemy, fighting not only to stay alive but to defend the only place worth returning to: home.

However, Salt will not be the only ally to count on. Alongside Jun will also take the field Emrys, belonging to the Devas, an enigmatic celestial species defined by multiple consciousnesses. His is a supporting role: he launches Remnant Orbs capable of draining and weakening enemies, and then uses the energy thus obtained to protect Jun.

EXODUS is already available to add to the wishlist on the XBOX Store. We now leave you to the trailer.
