Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy arrives in October, new trailer

The Italian studio Stormind Games announced today with a new trailer that Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy, the third and final installment of the popular survival horror series, will be available starting October 27, just in time to immerse us in a new and terrifying adventure in view of the Halloween atmosphere.

In this new nightmare we will play the role of Susan, a mother desperately looking for her daughter who mysteriously disappeared inside an isolated villa on the slopes of Mount Etna. The investigation will lead us to descend into the depths of secret rooms and buried memories, bringing to light the forgotten origins of the Red Nun and dark secrets related to the protagonist's own family. As we explore environments full of detail, we will have to carefully examine each room, find clues, collect key items and solve puzzles in order to access new areas and progress towards the shocking final revelation. Our journey will lead us to discover the unspoken history of the Sicilian convent of the Dying Christ, the exact place where the myth of the Red Nun was born, steeped in forbidden rituals, guilt and corrupted faith.

From the point of view of gameplay, the title describes itself as a real love letter to the classic third-person survival horror, but enriched by decidedly modern controls, rhythm and production values. Throughout the adventure we will have to constantly test our survival instincts to escape relentless human pursuers, known as Stalkers. We will be able to hide, evade threats and, in the most critical moments, fight using the limited melee weapons at our disposal to keep them at bay, knowing that a single mistake could be fatal to us.

To further expand our possibilities of exploration, we will also have the opportunity to master special hypnotic powers. By exploiting abilities such as retrocognition, mirror-related skills and moth manipulation, we will in fact be able to read forgotten memories, reveal hidden paths within the estate and alter the environment in our favor.

To make the experience even more disturbing and engaging there will be an excellent audio sector, characterized by a soundtrack composed by the legendary Akira Yamaoka. The voice cast also boasts the participation of prominent actresses such as Cissy Jones and Maggie Robertson, who will bring the characters of this macabre tale to life.

We leave you to the new trailer that shows us the atmosphere of the game: enjoy!
