EA Sports FC 27 reveals Standard Edition cover and hints at an open-world mode
This mode is designed to allow us to move freely in a shared football-themed context, customize our avatar, interact with other users and test ourselves with various secondary activities.
The first official clue came from the cover of the Standard Edition which sees behind Mbappé a background accompanied by the slogan "Built from The Grounds up", a clear reference to the new setting. Looking carefully at the promotional images circulated in these hours, you can then see architectures reminiscent of famous world football capitals such as London and Paris, confirming the rumors about the division of the hub into real thematic districts.
Within this shared space we will be able to take the field in different structures scattered along the map. In addition to the usual street football matches in the wake of the Volta experience, we will be able to try our hand at more informal and unprecedented challenges such as football tennis. The news does not stop there: outside of The Grounds we will find, for example, The Gallery, a collection book that will reward us for completing thematic sets of cards dedicated to clubs, leagues and tournaments. Finally, there is no lack of a welcome return from the past, given that among the promotional images even Alex Hunter appears intent on parachuting, suggesting his possible presence within the new virtual world.
We remind you that tomorrow, Thursday 23 July, the first gameplay trailer will be revealed, through which we should learn more details about the game. See you tomorrow!
