Electronic Arts today revealed that Kylian Mbappé will be the face of the Ultimate Edition of EA Sports FC 27, returning to be the protagonist of the franchise after four years of absence from the cover. This is the French footballer's first debut as a cover star in the series since changing his name to EA SPORTS FC, and his image will also appear on the cover of EA SPORTS FC Mobile.

After moving to Real Madrid in 2024, Mbappé confirmed all his talent at the highest level: he won the title of top scorer of LALIGA EA SPORTS in both seasons played in Spain and won the Golden Boot of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League thanks to the 15 goals scored in the competition. Excellent performances in the national team jersey over the summer have further cemented his position among football's global elite, making him the natural choice to represent the franchise's next chapter.
