Ghost Recon Wildlands: An XBOX Series X|S Optimized DE Comes Up for Surprise
Compared to the title originally landed in 2017 on Xbox One, this re-release introduces a long-awaited update for XBOX Series X|S that will allow us to play with a resolution in 4K and a frame-rate at 60 fps. However, it will not only be a graphic upgrade: we will also have a new mission, "Last Rites", to face in the field. In addition to this, this edition includes all the content released for the game over the years.
This fits perfectly into Ubisoft's recent business strategy. Due to a series of internal delays that have slowed down the development of the next main chapters of historical franchises such as Far Cry, Assassin's Creed and the Ghost Recon series itself, the publisher is in fact trying to enhance the productions of its catalog. Ghost Recon Wildlands is not the only one to receive such treatment: among the titles destined for a new enhanced version there is also Watch Dogs Legion, for which the filming of additional content and missions would have recently been completed in view of a possible launch by the end of the year, along with other games currently in the works.
