AdHoc Studio has finally announced the release date on XBOX of the acclaimed superhero adventure Dispatch: July 29, in two weeks. After its debut between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, the experience finally lands in our ecosystem, offering an unprecedented and irreverent perspective on the world of superheroes.

The plot of the game puts us in the shoes of Robert Robertson, aka Mecha Man. Following the destruction of his mechanical suit in a clash with his archenemy, the protagonist is forced to reinvent himself by accepting a job in a call sorting center for superheroes. Our task will not be to fight on the front lines, but to act as a dispatcher, managing a team of former supervillains in rehab. We will have to extricate ourselves from the complex office dynamics and find a way to rebuild our armor to obtain the long-awaited revenge.

The title was praised by critics and audiences alike for a balanced fusion of storytelling, strategy and humor. Every choice we make will directly influence the unfolding of events, from simple exchanges in the break room to life-or-death situations on the court. Our decisions will shape our relationships with heroes, their alliances, and the path of our personal history. Through a strategic map, we will have to assess the ongoing emergencies and send the most suitable hero, or perhaps the wrong one, facing risks and rewards with the knowledge that each tactical move will have lasting consequences for the team and for the entire city of Los Angeles.

The management of the roster will require special attention, as each hero brings with them peculiarities, flaws and an emotional baggage to manage to maintain the cohesion of the group. We will have the opportunity to improve their skills and unlock new capabilities to increase their operational effectiveness. Dispatch invites us to reflect on the true meaning of being a hero, whether you wear a cape or sit behind a desk.
