There are now a few months left before our return to the field with Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters, which will be available starting August 28, and a new trailer of the game shows us the modes that await us in the game.

At the heart of the narrative experience will be the new "NEW STARS" story mode, based on the manga's "World Youth" story arc and enriched with new developments for the series. We will have to experience this iconic saga from the point of view of a member of the Japanese national team, which is fully customizable. By creating our own player, we will be able to strengthen the bond with the characters of the original manga to learn their moves and make their mark on the world stage together with Tsubasa and his companions. Added to this is the "LEGEND/ADVANCED" Story mode, which will introduce new narrative strands and original stories not present in the manga, curated under the supervision of Yoichi Takahashi.

We'll also have the opportunity to explore the "RIVALS EPISODE," a section with exclusive side stories focused on opponents from around the world and their training to achieve ambitious goals. On the gameplay front, we will have to make the most of the "EDIT PLAYER" and "EDIT TEAM" features to give vent to our creativity. We will be able to customize appearance, physique and characteristic moves to forge the ideal footballer and aim for the world title. Finally, after improving our skills in the "TRAINING" mode, we will be able to compete against other opponents from all over the globe in the online modes.
