Bandai Namco has announced the first expansion for Code Vein II, titled Mask of Idris. This new content, set in the mysterious Forsaken World, will allow us to transcend time and space to explore new areas and take on memorable challenges. The expansion will be purchasable individually or included within the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the title.

To access this new campaign we will have to have reached the "Fraternal Moon" ending and completed the "Valentin's request" sub-mission, as it is a content designed exclusively for the post-game. The adventure will take us to the Forsaken World, a place forged by the converging pathos of realities that have disappeared due to historical alterations. At the center of this alternate world we will find a colossal swirling spindle that threatens to affect the real world. During our exploration we will meet Liv Voda, the seductive and combative guardian of time and space.

To coincide with the expansion launch, the Version 2.0 update will be released for free. This update will introduce several improvements and extra content, allowing us to explore the main game world together with our companions. Bandai Namco has anticipated that more details about the free update and upcoming news will be shared in the future.
