Entalto Publishing and Italian studio ONE O ONE GAMES announced today that their first-person psychological thriller The Alighieri Circle: Dante's Bloodline will arrive on September 10; However, we won't have to wait long to try it, since a playable demo has just been released that allows us to try it in preview.

In the game we will play Gabriele Alighieri, an ordinary man crushed by a legacy never chosen: every 33 years the boundary between reality and Hell weakens, and to protect his family he will have to make the Return, returning to the family villa and accepting a long-avoided fate.

The experience designed by the Italian studio abandons traditional combat and easy jumpscares, focusing on psychological tension and environmental puzzles. We will have to move between two converging realities: the melancholic Italian villa, full of secrets, and "The Dive", a surreal dimension in which the afterlife externalizes feelings of guilt. At the same time, an esoteric investigation will ask us to decipher clues and reassemble pages of diaries to reveal the tragic history of the Alighieri lineage.

The announcement is accompanied by a new trailer unveiled during the Italian Videogame Awards in Florence, Dante's hometown: a particularly significant context for a title that draws directly on his universe.
