Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy reveals its gameplay
In Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy we will have to explore an abandoned villa on Mount Etna, relying on our ingenuity to extricate ourselves from disturbing revelations, buried secrets and a distorted reality. The goal will be to discover the truth behind the legend of the Red Nun, while surviving the ruthless Stalkers who hunt us. To face these threats, we will be able to count on melee weapons to keep enemies at a distance and peculiar psychic powers that will allow us to reveal secret passages and hidden mysteries.
Among the new mechanics introduced, unique abilities such as Retrocognition stand out, which will allow us to listen to and relive the echoes of the past linked to objects and places; Secret in Mirrors, to reveal hidden truths by exploiting reflections; and Moth Manipulation, with which you control swarms of moths to destroy infested nests and open new paths. We will also have to collect clues, solve puzzles and access new areas to get closer to the final truth, reconstructing the forgotten history of the convent of the Dying Christ, the place of origin of the myth of the Red Nun.
The title pays homage to the great third-person survival horror that marked the genre, offering a dense atmosphere and a design with attention to detail. An exceptional voice cast, with Cissy Jones (The Walking Dead, Life is Strange, BAFTA for Firewatch) and Maggie Robertson (Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village), and a soundtrack signed by Akira Yamaoka, famous author of the music of Silent Hill, contribute to further elevating the experience.
We leave you with the gameplay trailer and a set of images, enjoy!
