As many expected, inXile Entertainment's highly anticipated first-person action-RPG, Clockwork Revolution, was also shown at the XBOX Games Showcase with a long trailer that introduces the game's characters and reveals a very "BioShock-like" gameplay, with a final surprise: the game will arrive in 2027 exclusively on Xbox consoles.

The title will transport us to the steampunk city of Avalon, a reactive world where every choice we make will have profound consequences. Avalon presents itself as a fascinating but far from utopian metropolis, divided between the streets choked by the ash of the Tangle and the luxurious avenues of high society. To survive in this context, we will have to play the role of Morgan Vanette. The game will offer a deep initial customization, allowing us to define the appearance, skills and evolution of the protagonist, which will change radically according to the decisions made during the adventure.

Accompanying us on this journey through time will be Prentice, a flying automaton who will act as an observer and companion. This character will not only be a guide, but will have a personal skill tree to interact with the world. The heart of the gaming experience will be the Stopwatch, the device that will allow us to manipulate time. Among the new abilities shown stands out Displace, a power that allows you to instantly reposition objects, useful for opening paths, solving puzzles or transforming the environment itself into a lethal weapon against enemies.

Time alterations will have a direct impact on the people closest to us, especially the members of the Rotten Row Hooligans gang. Ulysses, Nazim, Erasmus, Hazel and Anne will not be mere shoulders, but individuals with lives of their own that could change drastically if we have to change the past. The challenge will be made even more difficult by Lady Ironwood, the ruthless ruler of Avalon. She too uses time travel to rewrite history and maintain her iron control over the city, constantly putting her industrial intelligence agents on its heels.

Every action we take will have a weight, whether it is small immediate repercussions or major future upheavals. The development team is working hard to refine the work and promises further news as we approach launch.
