id Software and Bethesda were also at the XBOX Games Showcase, to present Revelations, expansion of DOOM: The Dark Ages arriving on July 7th.

In this new expansion we will find the protagonist wounded and betrayed, thrown into a ruthless purgatory. To be able to escape, we will have to face disturbing truths and find new strength with the help of a mysterious ally. Combat will undergo a radical evolution thanks to the introduction of the lethal chain spear, a new weapon that promises to offer an original combat system, capable of rewarding our mastery with greater power and mobility. In addition, we will have to juggle levels characterized by more complex puzzles, clashing with new demonic creatures and discovering new mysteries.

In parallel with the launch of the expansion, the Ripatorium 3.0 update will be released free of charge for everyone. This patch will introduce deeper customization, improved code generation, and the ability to save and load our own presets. Those who own the Premium Edition or the Collector Bundle will also have three new maps, additional demons and fully upgraded weapons at their disposal.

As for access to content, those who have already purchased the Digital Upgrade, Premium Edition or Collector Bundle will be able to play DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations at no additional cost. Owners of the basic version, on the other hand, will be able to purchase the single DLC at the price of 19,99 euros, or choose to go directly to the Premium Edition with an outlay of 34,99 euros.
