Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy shows us the gameplay, arrives on August 27
The story, set fifteen years before the events of the original series, will transport us to an era suspended between the Middle Ages and the Minoan era, shifting the focus to a new and fearsome protagonist. In fact, we will have to play the role of the young Sophia, a ruthless marauder determined to reach the distant shores of the Island of the Minotaur, a place that calls her to itself since childhood. During this journey to discover the dark origins of her family, Sophia will not be completely alone: she will be able to count on the help of her friend Leni to face lethal enemies and mortal trials, but the depths of the island hide a completely unexpected ally, a mythological hero taken from the most ancient legends.
The atmosphere of the title promises to masterfully mix combat, mythology and destiny, all accompanied by the music of acclaimed composer Olivier Derivière, who will take care of the soundtrack of this new and unprecedented perspective on the world of the series. Details on the soundtrack will be revealed shortly, but expectations are already very high.
For those who don't want to wait, the game is already available for pre-order. Buying it in advance will grant us free access to the Heritage Pack DLC, which includes the Minoan Sword, Alec's Pendant and a digital artbook of over 30 pages. At launch, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will also be available from day one on XBOX Game Pass and will support the XBOX Play Anywhere feature.
We leave you with the new trailer and a set of images: enjoy!
