Cronos: Lazarus, the new narrative expansion for Cronos: The New Dawn announced
Isolated in the Terminal and severing all ties with the Collective, the character will dedicate every moment to awakening a lost Essence, refusing to let it vanish. However, his refuge will be compromised: a new and lethal hunter figure will in fact be sent with a single and mandatory order, namely to find and eliminate him.
This new chapter promises to upset the tone of the game compared to the base title. If in Cronos: The New Dawn the approach was focused on precision and careful choice of fights, in Cronos: Lazarus we will have to adopt a much more aggressive and fast style, experiencing firsthand what it means to be an elite agent of the Collective. Despite the Guardian being scarred and weakened by a lifetime of survival, he will retain the ability to move quickly, strike hard, and resist under pressure. At our disposal we will have enhanced movement and combat skills, including the ability to leave a bait behind us or become temporarily invisible to enemies, taking advantage of technologies and tools reserved for Explorers.
The challenge promises to be extremely difficult, as we will have to face an opponent custom-designed to stop us. This relentless and highly adaptive pursuer will be able to match the strength of the Guardian, resulting in large-scale, cinematic clashes that will test our every skill. Along the way, we will discover fragments of the protagonist's past and we will have to decide how far to go to challenge the Collective and complete our mission of rebirth, transforming the future from something to be suffered to something to be regained.
We leave you with the announcement trailer of the expansion, enjoy!
