Stanger than Heaven arrives in January, Tupac and Snoop Dogg in the cast

January 15, 2027 will be a date to mark on the calendar for fans of RGG Studio, known so far for the titles of the Yakuza series: the team has in fact announced that this will be the release date of Stranger than Heaven, but that's not all.

The real surprise presented on the stage of the Summer Game Fest concerns the entry into the project of authentic legends of hip-hop music. Snoop Dogg will not only play the character of Orpheus, but he also collaborated in the creation of the original official theme song of the game together with Satoshi Fujihara, Ado and Tori Kelly, artists who in turn will lend their faces to other roles within the adventure. Even more sensational is the addition of the legendary and late Tupac Shakur, who will play the role of Amaru, a new character created specifically for the occasion.

To bring this icon to life, RGG Studio is working closely with Amaru Entertainment, the company that manages the artist's legacy, to ensure the utmost respect for his figure and legacy. It has been expressly confirmed that no type of artificial intelligence will be used: the design and integration of Tupac will be based exclusively on carefully supervised archival footage and photographs. To find out more details about his actual role and how he will affect the plot, we will have to wait for the next official updates.

The announcement is accompanied by a new trailer and some images: here is everything below.
