SEGA announces Alien Isolation 2 at Summer Game Fest

Another bombshell announced at the Summer Game Fest: more than ten years after the release of the terrifying original chapter, Creative Assembly and SEGA today announced Alien: Isolation 2, unveiling it with an announcement trailer that confirms the return of the levels of tension that have consecrated the franchise.

While presenting a completely new story, protagonist and setting, the team's goal is to preserve the soul of survival horror par excellence. In Alien Isolation 2 we will find ourselves trapped on a remote planetary colony beaten by constant and violent storms. While exploring the surface and boundaries of the Weyland-Yutani outpost of Kurosaki Station, we will not only have to flee, but we will be forced to face the environmental elements directly. This unprecedented and lethal hunting ground will force us to improvise, pushing us to develop new tactics, techniques and craft tools to escape the xenomorph.

Al Hope, Creative Assembly's creative director, expressed the Survival team's excitement for this long-awaited return. According to him, the studio's hard work has focused on creating an experience capable of reviving the legacy of the saga, offering us a much smarter enemy and a decidedly more hostile environment. The promise is that of an updated experience, in which our hope of survival will be put to the test like never before.

We leave you with the announcement trailer and some images.
