Tonight's Summer Game Fest opened with a bombshell: Capcom's announcement of Resident Evil Veronica, already rumored remake of RE: Code Veronica that will mark the return of Claire Redfield, arriving in 2027.

The adventure will catapult us into a desperate escape steeped in horror and madness, set on claustrophobic and isolated Rockfort Island. In these areas infested with zombies and dark secrets, we will have to fight with all our might to survive, exploring oppressive environments and facing deadly threats. The fulcrum of the experience will be the constant tension, which will accompany our every step inside the structure as we look for a way out.

Thanks to the use of the RE ENGINE, the development team has promised to introduce a completely modernized gameplay, supported by a realism that is nothing short of chilling. The goal of the software house is clear: to push the survival horror mechanics to unprecedented heights, guaranteeing an unprecedented level of immersion.
