Netease and Everstone Studio today announced the arrival of the free-to-play action-RPG Where Winds Meet on XBOX, with the addition of specific benefits for Game Pass subscribers. The studio also revealed Hidden Mountain, the third major expansion to come, celebrating an important milestone: over 80 million players have already explored the world of the title since its debut.

After the success of the "Hexi" and "Imperial Palace" expansions, Where Winds Meet invites us to forge our legend in tenth-century China, where we will have to face fights with distinctive martial arts and unique weapons in a breathtaking and uninterrupted landscape, through solitary, cooperative and PvP adventures. The XBOX version has been developed with the console experience in mind: Smart Delivery support ensures automatic access to the optimal version for our hardware, while the redesigned interface and text resizing improve readability from a distance.

On a technical level, the title takes advantage of AMD FSR 2 upscaling and full HDR support to offer upscaled resolution to 4K on Xbox Series X and 2K on Xbox Series S, with memory optimizations that ensure smooth frame rates during exploration and the most intense clashes. To cap off the launch, a custom Xbox Wireless Controller was also unveiled, inspired by one of the game's most iconic and emotional images, to reflect the sleek and deadly aesthetic of the Wuxia universe.

The "Hidden Mountain" expansion promises to revolutionize exploration with a multi-layered, vertical three-dimensional landscape, rewarding curiosity with hidden secrets and movement challenges at every altitude. On top of these peaks lies the Mohist sect, a legendary faction that will bring new mysteries, advanced martial arts mechanics, never-before-seen gameplay loops, and significant narrative twists to the Wuxia epic, pushing us to explore every corner of this evolving world.
