The guys at Nodding Heads Games today unveiled a full-bodied gameplay trailer for Raji: Kaliyuga, the sequel to the popular third-person action-adventure Raji: An Ancient Epic coming to Game Pass. This new film, lasting over five minutes, allows us to take a closer look at the fascinating mythological imagery and the fast pace of action that will characterize the production.

The plot of this new chapter will develop six years after the events narrated in the first title of the series. Things will definitely get more serious and take on a "cosmic" scale, as the asura warlord Mahabalasura has managed to break the seals of heaven. This event will unleash an all-out war that will not only see mortals clash, but will also directly involve gods, demons and powerful mystical entities. To thwart the end of everything, we will be called upon to embark on an extraordinary journey to the Eternal Peak, where the fate of the entire universe will be decided.

The main novelty on the gameplay front is represented by the presence of two different playable protagonists, which we can alternate to take advantage of radically different fighting styles. We will return to control Raji, now transformed into an expert warrior capable of moving with great agility, combining acrobatic martial arts with the use of the lethal Trishul and benefiting from a renewed system of customizable dodges. At his side, however, we will also find his brother Darsh, a dreamwalker with devastating Siddhi powers; Using it, we will be able to manipulate time, gravity and elemental energy at will through dedicated combat mechanics.

The developers have promised an experience characterized by high visual fidelity and fast-paced action, designed to fully satisfy lovers of the genre. At the moment Raji: Kaliyuga does not yet have an official release date, but we know that it will arrive on XBOX Game Pass at launch.
